Joan Poskey on Ariel, who she borrowed for a lesson from the string of Oakdale sale horses. Ariel is 4 years old, a Percheron mare.

Joan is currently horseless, but eager to ride anyway.

Judy Lancaster is riding Bonnie another Oakdale sale horse. Judy’s horse is out with an abscess and she did not want to miss her lesson.

Riding multiple horses is a great way to learn your dressage skills faster.

Emily Schlake on her own horse Seanus. Seanus is a Draft/Quarter horse, he is four and a perfect fit for Emily. This is her first dressage lesson.

Carrie Lamoure and Harley, a draft mix PMU out of Canada. He is wearing Grace's bridle to try the feel of a KK bit and drop noseband.

Joan Poskey prepares her new young horse Moseby for his first show. Moseby is a Cleveland Bay-Hanoverian-TB cross and will be used mostly for hunting.

Jody Swartz on Apollo, his Morgan/Friesian gelding. They are moving up to first level in 2006. Here, Jody keeps Apollo's canter connected.

Pam Stinson and Spot. Spot's primary job wil be hunting, but first he is learning dressage. This will make him a safer hunt horse.

Sandra Cook with her young paint gelding, Cole. Sandra's goal is to make Cole the perfect trail horse. He has a wonderful canter.

Sandra Cox riding her arab gelding, That's That. His disciplines are dressage and trail riding.

Shelly Temple on Cooper, a Morgan gelding whose primary job is competitive driving. They train in dressage to condition his body & expand his gaits.

Toni Sleeme on her mare, Rain. Rain is her trail horse. Along with basic dressage, Rain had to learn to canter with a rider.

Breanna Howard and her mare, Secret, an anglo-arab who loves to event and not come round. But they are improving together!
